Prue sighed as she walked up the steps to the Attic. She was supposed to meet her mother up there for a lesson on magic, yet again. You see, Prue would rather be in town doing something a little more... What was the word? Oh yes. Fun. She didn't really care for learning about magic. She wanted to embrace her teenage years and have as much fun as she wanted.
Prue was soon up in the Attic and she glanced around. Her mother was not there yet. She sighed and walked over to the couch, sitting town and putting her feet up on the couch. What a waste of time, she would rather be off somewhere else than here with her mother. She crossed her arms as she waited. How long was her mother going to take?

Piper ran in the door of the manor and dropped her bag, she was late to teach hr daughter and she knew that Prue wasn't head over heals in love with the whole magic thing yet, Piper wished she could come into it more but she knew her daughter was a teenagaer and magic was probably the last thing on her mind.
Piper ran up the stairs to the attic and saw her daughter sitting there "sorry im late" she said smiling and walked over to the potion bowl.

Prue sighed as she waited for her mother still. It had been over half an hour since she had entered the Attic. Soon she heard rushing footsteps up the stairs that she knew all to well. Her mother was late and she knew it.
Prue looked over at the door as her mother rushed in and walked straight over to the potion bowl and appologized to her. Prue simply nodded and stood up. She walked over to her mother and put her hands down on the table, looking at the potion bowl.
"Yeah, by half an hour," she said smiply and shook her head. "So what are we learning today?"

Piper looked at her daughter with her hands on her hips "umm i think we should practice using your powers, Piper said as she new that Prue still hadn't quite got the hang of them yet especially her astral projection power.
Piper walked over to the other side of the room "try to astral project here" she said pointing to a spot near the window.

"Fine," Prue said as she heard her mother.
Pure really didn't like to use her powers al that much. She had a hang on her telekinisis, but not that much control over her astral projection. She sighed as she sat down on the ground and closed her eyes, trying to clear her mind and consentrate on what she was supposed to do.
She thought about using her astral projection and being over by the window. After a few minutes Prue finally acheived it. She was now standing by her mother, over by the window. She knew that soon it would be easier for her to do, but it would take a lot of practice and it would take even more to be able to use her powers while astral projecting. It would also take her a while to be able to astral project for more than just a few minutes.

Piper smiled as she saw her daughter project to the window "ok good so what else do you think you need work on" Piper asked her daughter hoping that she wouldn't get the usual can i go now or i know everything Piper walked over to her daughter and stroked her hair like Piper used to do when Prue was little and awaited an answer.

"I don't know mom, you tell me," Prue said before her astral projection self dissapeared and she was back in her owh body.
Prue stood up adn looked at her mother, waiting for her to tell her what she needed to practice. Prue knew exactally what she needed to practice, but she really didn't want to do it unless she was asked to y her mother.
"So? What will it be mom?" she asked as she stood there. She crossed her arms and waited, hoping that she would get an answer soon.

Piper walked over to the book "umm why don't we" Piper turned the pages of the book a couple of times but then turned back to the first page she looked at "ok why dont you try and make this vanquishing potion" she said trying to remember if she had bought all the ingredients when she went shopping last week, Piper looked at her daughters reaction and could tell that she was not pleased.

As her mother spoke Prue put her hands down on the table that the potion bowl was on and looked down at it. She really wanted to get out of this stuffy old attic and do something more interesting with her time.
"Fine, I don't remember the ingredents though," Prue siad as she looked over at her mother. "Can you bring the book over here?"
As Prue waited for her mother to bring the book ofer she stepped in front of the potion bowl. There were many ingredients on the table and she knew that most of them went into the potion. She just didn't remember how much of each one did.

Piper brought the book to her daughter and smiled "ok this defiantly should not be here" she said moving one of the ingredients to the other side of the table. Piper walked over to the sofa and sat down "ok so start making it" Piper said thinking after this she would not make her daughter do anything else.

Prue looked down at the book as her mother walked over to the sofa and sat down on it. She hated being watched when she did things. Prue shrugged the feeling off and started to add the ingredients to the potion bowl. When she had added a few of the ingredients into the bowl she sighed.
Prue thought for a moment then a smile came to her face as the ingredients that needed to be put into the potion bowl started to levitate and measure themselves out. She hadn't really even tried to make it happen. It had basically done it on itself. True, that Prue had been thinking about it, but she hadn't expected it to happen.
When the last couple ingredients were done adding themselves to the bowl Prue picked up the very last ingredient. She stepped back a ways because she knew what was going to happen and threw it into the bowl. Suddenly there was a pop and smoke came from the bowl. The potion was finished.
"Anything else mom?" Prue asked. She was actually looking forward to learning a few more things now.

"That's all? No havign to use my powers more or make different potions?" Prue asked as she looked at her mother. "Wow, that was the quickest lesson that we have ever done."
Prue looked at her mother as she asked about her cousins. Prue hadn't seen any of them in quite some time. Actually, she kind of missed seeing them. They rarely ever stopped by to say hello anymore. She could tell that her mother missed seeing them as well.
"No I haven't seen them in a while," Prue said as she shook her head. "Why do you ask?"

Piper got up and looked out the window solemnly "oh no reason its just with you and your brothers gone most of the time i get lonely around here and with your dad gone with the elders its just lonely thats all" she said and walked closer to her daughter "you can go now if you want i know you have better things to do than be hanging around here" Piper said and smiled at her daughter "and if you see any of your aunts or cousins tell them to stop by when the have a chance"

Prue listened, taking in every word her mother said. She seemed really lonely and Prue felt a little bad abotu that. She was rarely ever home anymore and neither was Chris. Wyatt had moved out and he did visit, but not as offten as Prue knew her mother would have liked.
"Actually, I don't have anything to do right now," Prue said as she looked at her mother. "Maybe you can help me learn how to use my powers while I am in my Astral Projection. I know you said Aunt Prue had a hard time learning that one."
